I’m an art teacher currently teaching full time for Michigan Virtual in the role of iEducator.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 and went on to student teach at the elementary & middle school levels in Berkley, Michigan in an International Baccalaureate setting. Now I’m teaching Art Appreciation, Digital Arts, and other courses online to high school students through Michigan Virtual.

I’m passionate about teaching creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to a younger generation, and implementing technology with the knowledge that we’re educating students for careers and fields that don’t exist yet in our changing technological landscape.

Through this blog, I’m hoping to document my growth as an educator and my journey as a lifelong learner.
